A Star Wars theory suggests that Ezra Bridger could break millennia of Jedi protocol through the training of two different Jedi Padawans.

Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT A Star Wars theory stemming from Ahsoka's ending insists that Ezra Bridger will break millennia of Jedi protocol concerning Masters and Padawans. Ahsoka's finale and ending saw Ezra Bridger returning to the core Star Wars galaxy by hiding away on Grand Admiral Thrawn's Star Destroyer. This led to him escaping by hijacking an Imperial shuttle which he used to rendezvous with the New Republic fleet.

Upon doing so, Ezra was reunited with Hera Syndulla with the two being separated since Star Wars Rebels' ending. Through this reunion, Ezra could be positioned as a Jedi Master to a specific character that would tie together the New Republic and Empire eras of his journey.

Interestingly, Din Djarin also vowed to do the same in The Mandalorian season 3. Din and Grogu linking with Hera and Ezra through Carson would not only make for a great story in The Mandalorian season 4 while tying loose threads together for the New Republic movie but could lead to Ezra training Grogu as well.

Ezra Would Be Breaking A Massive Jedi Tradition If this theory comes to fruition in Star Wars' future, Ezra will be breaking countless generations of Jedi tradition. Across Star Wars' vast timeline, never has a Jedi been shown to have two Padawans at the same time. While Yoda takes it upon himself in the High Republic and prequel eras to train the younglings, he has never had two direct Padawans simultaneously.

As such, Ezra potentially training both Jacen Syndulla and Din Grogu in the ways of the Force would be a huge departure from Jedi protocol. However, this would make sense for his character. Ezra was labeled as a Bokken Jedi in Star Wars' Ahsoka, someone who was trained unofficially after the Temple fell in Order 66. As such, Ezra's training was somewhat unconventional and his time in Peridea likely means he is not as strict with the Jedi Code.
