Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Warning: Contains SPOILERS for Star Wars: The High Republic #5! Throughout the Star Wars franchise, one of the most tried and true tropes is that of the fallen Jedi turned Sith. Whenever a Jedi stops being a Jedi, more often than not, they turn to the dark side. This was true with Count Dooku, Kylo Ren, and - of course - Anakin Skywalker.

Close Trennis finds Master Sskeer in a dark cave on an even darker world, though he’s not the same Trandoshan Trennis once knew. Trennis was practically raised by Sskeer, who taught her everything she knew about being not only a Jedi, but a good person. But now, Sskeer was reduced to an animalistic brute, hissing at his former Padawan as she approached him before launching into a full-scale attack.

Star Wars fans are seeing Sskeer in an aggressive light, as he’s being approached by two people that his animalistic mind doesn’t register as friendly. However, if one were to take a step back and look at Sskeer through the lens of the Living Force, then he exists in accordance with the natural law - more so than even a Jedi. Sith actively violate the laws of nature, and Jedi try to guide nature's hand towards order.
