She revealed it's something they began doing five years ago, noting:"As we look at where Star Wars is going, we don't just assume it's only going to be on television and in movie theaters. That's another evolution we're having a lot of conversation around.

What that mean is they will poach from the star was eu that they originally wrote off as fan fiction. Pick popular stories and characters from the eu then proceed to shuff there corporate activism into the story and charaters live they have been doing. Creativity bankrupt

No shit, they have tons of great legends continuity stories to pull from, I'd love a properly adapted KOTOR pair of series that tell the comics story and games stories in 2 separate shows
What’s wrong with having both, you can have movies that continue the Star Wars legacy and you can still make movies/series that tell interesting stories within the Skywalker saga.
