Not to dismiss the fine work she and Ms Krige did in the rôle,but I've always found the concept of a 'Borg Queen' antithetical to what made the Borg Borg,and so menacing—not just that they lacked individual selves, but that they seemed to be doing well without anything like them.

Given what I heard about season one. I'll pass. I watched Discovery season one and tapped out. This new Trek just isn't Trek. It's breaking continuity and canon, plus, really bad writing.

20 years ago I would be excited by news like this, but current Trek is an abomination that keeps throwing nostalgia at fans to get them on board. They've been milking the past since the Abrams movies.

Interesting. But what I don't understand is, they bring in a genuinely intriguing and likeable new character, Narissa, wonderfully played by PeytonList, and then kill her off? We all like Seven, of course, but killing Narissa was exceedingly naughty of her.
