The Spurs selected North Carolina forward Harrison Ingram with the 48th overall pick in the second round of 2024 NBA draft on Thursday at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn , New York . A 21-year-old Dallas native, Ingram began his college career at Stanford before transferring to UNC for his final season. The 6-foot-5, 233-pound forward started 36 games for the Tar Heels and averaged 12.2 points on 43% shooting, 8.8 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 1.8 3-pointers and 1.4 steals.
Spurs trade 35th pick to Indiana for 36th pick and cash, draft PG Juan Nunez Ingram helped UNC clinch the ACC regular-season title and was selected to the All-ACC third team. He went on to average 12.7 points, seven boards, two assists and 1.3 steals in the NCAA tournament, where UNC fell to Alabama 89-87 in the Sweet Sixteen. He was also previously named the Pac-12 Freshman of the Year after averaging 10.5 points, 6.7 rebounds and three assists in 2021-22.
