The full SpiderManNoWayHome script has been released online, and it reveals Tobey Maguire & Andrew Garfield’s MCU names.

The script for Spider-Man: No Way Home reveals Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire's names in the MCU. More than a month since it hit theaters, Marvel Studios and Sony decided to drop the full script of the film online. Written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, the film wraps up Tom Holland's own trilogy in the franchise, but it also moves MCU's efforts forward to build its multiverse.

After the unexpected failure of The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Sony scrapped their plans for The Amazing Spider-Man 3 and teamed up with Marvel Studios to relaunch the character. Holland was cast for the part and debuted in 2016's Captain America: Civil War. Since then, he's been a consistent player in the MCU. But as he established himself as the primary version of the wall-crawler, Marvel Studios and Sony pulled arguably the most interesting crossover in the film series thus far.

Marvel Studios is known to be very careful with regard to handing out scripts even to cast members of their movies. The stars of Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame famously didn't get complete scripts, some even received fake ones. Considering how much attention Spider-Man: No Way Home had garnered leading to its release, chances are that not everyone involved in the movie got their hands on a complete version of this script.

Garfield has been openly talking about his experience working on Spider-Man: No Way Home, and he has nothing but great words for his co-stars. Holland shared the same sentiments; he's extra grateful that his predecessors agreed to do the special crossover. At this point, the next time fans will see Garfield, Maguire, and Holland again on the big screen is uncertain. With the burgeoning Marvel multiverse, this isn't exactly out of the realm of possibility. .
