SpaceX’s has had a multibillion-dollar economic impact on the Rio Grande Valley , according to a one-page document from the company that Cameron County officials released Tuesday. While not an in-depth economic impact report, the document’s figures provide a glimpse of how the commercial space company’s South Texas operation is generating jobs and business. According to the document, SpaceX has invested more than $3 billion in infrastructure at and around Starbase .
