Replacement for damaged Soyuz crew ferry ship poised for launch to space stationEngineers readied a Russian Soyuz crew ferry ship for launch Thursday on an unpiloted flight to the International Space Station to replace a damaged Soyuz and provide an eventual ride home for three of the lab's crew members. I guess CBS News doesn't want to report this or any other news. Just the Alex Murdaugh trial. Russia launches rescue ship to space station after leaksRussia has launched a rescue ship for the two cosmonauts and the NASA astronaut whose original ride home sprang a dangerous leak while parked at the International Space Station. The new, empty Soyuz capsule should arrive at the orbiting lab on Sunday. No sanctions for this? Oh, no. And in completely unrelated news, the American astronaut will have fresh marijuana in their bag, and arrested the second they arrive in Russia. I still think it's pretty damn lame to rely on the Russians to get an American Astronaut to the space station and back. Talk about setting yourself up for failure!
