South Seattle bar fight leaves man in 'extreme critical condition'

Seattle police officers responded to reports of multiple people fighting in the 3400 block of 4th Avenue South at 2:32 a.m. A man suffering from serious injuries was found when officers arrived. Officers provided treatment to the man until the Seattle Fire Department arrived.Police said another person, a woman, was also injured from trying to prevent the assault. The extent of her injuries is unknown.

Officers were unable to find the suspects who fled the area. A firearm was recovered at the crime scene and a vehicle was impounded to the processing room. Homicide & Assault Unit detectives are investigating the assault.
