SEOUL - South Korean President Moon Jae-in said on Monday Japan’s reported accusations that South Korea had exported banned goods to North Korea posed a “grave challenge” amid a growing dispute over Japanese export curbs.

The curbs were seen as a response to a South Korean court ruling last year ordering a Japanese company to compensate South Koreans who were forced into labor during World War II. South Korea has said the reports were groundless and it has been doing a better job than Japan in keeping track of illicit exports.

The two countries held five-hour marathon talks in Tokyo on Friday but the feud only deepened, with both sides presenting conflicting accounts of each other’s demands.

This measure is not a retaliation of historical issues between the two countries. Japan is obliged to control export of strategic goods properly. Since an inappropriate case actually occurs, it is necessary to prevent the occurrence of a similar case. ↓ Reuters text is fake.

Yep~! Japan says the issue of forced labor was settled by the 1965 treaty, but Japanese court also ruled the settlement doesn’t include compensation for citizen. The settlement was for Korean gov. Not people. Would you please report the correct news?

It's not economic sanctions, but the warning because Moon administration has committed a national security violation. No matter how much stupid koreans hate us, we've continued to warn of this for the security of the world. Look at this stupid puppet of North Korea...ugh, fed up.
