Ethan Fantel smacked a two-run home in his first at-bat since being hit by a line drive in the season opener in South Brunswick’s 11-6 win over North Brunswick in Monmouth Junction.Teammates Will Haman , Brian Culhane , and Jack Leach all contributed during the victory at the plate as well.
Aaron Pernan earned the win pitching four innings while allowing four runs on five hits with strikeouts.Coming into the season, Fantel was expected to be one of the Greater Middlesex Conference’s top players. he hit .353 last year with 24 hits, five homers and 19 runs while pitching 32 2/3 innings with 44 strikeouts on the mound.
