Tony and Carmela in The Sopranos

Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT The Sopranos stars reprise their roles for a bizarre reason in a recently unearthed video from 14 years ago. Aired from 1999 to 2007, the highly-acclaimed HBO series followed James Gandolfini as Tony Soprano, a troubled New Jersey mobster struggling to balance his personal and professional life.

Starting at 9:34, the footage sees Gandolfini and Falco reprising their roles for a video recruiting LeBron James to the New York Knicks in 2010. The video also features other celebrities, such as Robert DeNiro, Chris Rock, and Spike Lee. The recruitment attempt failed, as LeBron James signed with the Miami Heat in 2010 to form the Big Three alongside Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh.

Though it was created to recruit LeBron James to the New York Knicks, the video offers an idea of what would happen to Tony if he survived. Set two years after the finale, the video imagines Tony and Carmela moving from New Jersey to New York and entering the witness protection program.
