Some Frisco residents are worried about the plan to bring a Universal theme park to their city. They voiced their concerns during Tuesday night's city council meeting.Some Frisco residents are worried that a Universal theme park will hurt their city’s image and cause traffic problems.

It will be a quarter of the size of Universal’s parks in Orlando and will be geared toward younger children and families. Some residents said they fear it will change the culture of the city.

Frisco traffic is already horrible

Frisco residents worried about their image? The culture has already changed here in Frisco. Preston Rd. is a prime example. People knew growth was coming, so its surprising they complain about this. The only eye soar is the $2 billion failed Wayde Park.

Can’t blame them. It’s going to be a huge mess! Used to be a coveted area for home buyers. I’ll be looking elsewhere… far from there!

Might as well put an airport in Frisco at this point
