Some Bitcoin conference attendees report testing positive for Covid after Miami event

Some of the 12,000 people who flew into Miami last weekend to attend the biggest Bitcoin event in history have since tested positive for Covid-19.The event, Bitcoin 2021, drew cryptocurrency enthusiasts from around the world to the Mana Wynwood convention center in Miami's arts and entertainment district. People packed into auditoriums and networked during the three-day event.

There was no mask mandate, and no proof of vaccination was required. Covid-19 was only a talking point in the context of how thrilled everyone was to have arrived at the other side of the pandemic. That is, of course, until some participants took to Twitter to say they had tested positive for the coronavirus.It may have been a"super spreading event" as dozens of participants reveal they've tested positive for COVID-19.

Don't prolong the 'WORLDWIDE' pandemic: 1) Wear a double-mask for the foreseeable future or until we're all safely out of the woods. 2) Get vaccinated; it's better to be safe than sorry. 3) And, it's far from being over! But, when it's finally over you'll know. 4) Stay safe.

The vaccine does not prevent one from getting COVID19 - it is supposed to only minimize the symptoms. And you can test positive and be asymptomatic.
