His 9.29 goals-against average ranks him No. 2 in the NLL behind only Nick Rose of the Toronto Rock. “The nicest thing about him is, positionally, he’s really sound and he doesn’t tend to let in a lot of kind of soft goals. He does make the first saves that only real quick and athletic goalies will make. He makes them.”“He makes saves night in and night out and in practice he leaves you shaking your head, but that’s who he is,” added Quinlan. “He’s a guy who competes. He loves the position and he’s all about the team.
Off the field, Buque is a positive person, with a good sense of humour, who keeps to himself. He leads by example.
