A winter weather advisory is in effect from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday.

Nearly a full day of inclement weather could leave a light glaze of ice and several inches of snow across south-central Pennsylvania, forecasters said.said. A winter weather advisory is in effect from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. Wednesday.

A combination of rain and snow will fall before 2 p.m. Wednesday. Snow could combine with sleet between 2–3 p.m., then shift to solely rain after 3 p.m. The rain could last until about 11 p.m., according to the NWS.are already planned for some Pennsylvania highways.Tuesday the snow could come down hard at times and is expected to be wet snow. It won’t be icy, but it could get packed down, wet and slushy making the roads slippery.

Forecasters said temperatures will peak in the low 40s Wednesday through Friday, then reach the mid 40s over the weekend.
