No No No keeping wounds moist does not make them heal faster the dryer the wound the faster the healing...Just experiences from my cuts and scrapes

George0Rod I’ve used peroxide my whole life with no issues (even gargle with it). Then use Neosporin on wound.

Alcohol is a no no, for me peroxide is fine

So what’s the alternative?

...and form a permanent scar. Learnt this the hard way.

So, what to do about disinfectant

I've never cleaned a cut in my life and rarely use a bandaid. They close up within a minute or so

when I was a kid, my mother would use rubbing alcohol to put on scrapes and cuts. Man, did it hurt!

Pour Salt or sugar on it or even honey .
