TOKYO - Testing aboard the Diamond Princess cruise ship in Japan has revealed 60 more confirmed cases of coronavirus, media said on Monday, as quarantined passengers took to social media to warn of depression setting in over their confinement.
The health ministry’s communication office had no information on the report when contacted by Reuters. “Lots of the passengers now are getting a bit of cabin fever,” British passenger David Able said in a video posted on Facebook. “Depression is starting to set in.”
This quarantine with so many passengers infected is absolutely useless. If the passengers are released after 2 weeks, we don’t know how many of them are carriers of the Coronavirus as we have been told that a person could have contracted the virus but symptoms are not yet evident
Of course, they'll all get it eventually if they're confined to such a small place. Plus the physicological turmoil they must going through, not knowing when they're going to get out of there. That doesn't help their immune system either.
