Season 2 has been temporarily shutdown due to the ongoing writer and actor strikes.
The indefinite Silo Season 2 delay comes after over a month since the streamer announced the official renewal of the sci-fi thriller drama. Besides Silo, the outlet also notes that another Apple TV+ show production, in the form of Foundation Season 3, will also be affected by the strikes.“In a ruined and toxic future, thousands live in a giant silo deep underground,” reads the logline.
Silo is written and created by Graham Yost , based on Hugh Howey’s post-apocalyptic novel series of the same name. The series stars Rebecca Ferguson , Tim Robbins , Rashida Jones , David Oyelowo , Common , Harriet Walter , Avi Nash , Iain Glen , Shane McRae , and more. The series is executive produced by Ferguson, Yost, Ben Brafman, Jon Midlane, Fred Golan, Cassie Pappas, Fred Golan, Ingrid Escajeda, Remi Aubuchon, Hugh Howey, and Nina Jack.
