You can adopt one from Second Chance Cavy Rescue. They foster unwanted guinea pigs and educate potential adopters on the proper care, housing and nutrition for these amazing animals. They will help with the treatment and pick-up and testing of animals. The doctor who told the patient that nothing could be done to help needs to go back to medical school .
