A thunderstorm brought heavy rain and moderate flooding to Howell Township, New Jersey, on the evening of Friday, August 5.The National Weather Service issued a flash flood warning and a severe thunderstorm warning for the region on Friday, predicting heavy winds, possible hail, and accumulation of water on roads.John Napoli, a Howell resident, shared footage of intense rainfall that he said resembled a hurricane.
