Sheriff: Man killed in Chaparral officer-involved shooting threatened deputy with taser

Officials with the Doña Ana County Sheriff's Office held a press conference Wednesday morning regarding the deadly officer-involved shooting that happened in Chaparral on Monday.

Deputies came in contact with a man in the vicinity and a struggle ensued, which resulted in shots being fired.During the press conference, Sheriff Kim Stewart showed the body cam video of the incident. She said the deputy made contact with Guzman after the man had left the area of the reported burglary.
