Sheriff asks public for help in fatal shooting that killed 4-year-old

SAN ANTONIO - The Bexar County Sheriff's Office is asking the public for information involving a fatal shooting at a Northeast home Wednesday night that killed a 4-year-old and injured four.Around 7 p.m. on Wednesday, two men started firing 7.62 rounds from small Draco AK47 wood stock rifles into a home on Windsor Hollow Dr., killing a four-year-old and injuring her mom, dad, and two siblings.

On Thursday, Sheriff Salazar released home surveillance videos of the suspects and their getaway vehicle in hopes of generating leads to help catch the pair. In an update on Friday afternoon, Salazar informed the public that the grey Infiniti Q50 they were searching for had been recovered in Alamo Ranch by an off-duty official. The car was originally stolen from the Converse area. They are unsure if the car is certainly the vehicle from the shooting, however, they recovered it anyway to run tests.

The Bexar County Sheriff's Office is continuing to ask anyone with information on this case to contact them at 355-6000 or by email at BCSOtips@bexar.org. They are also asking anyone who has called anonymously with tips to call again. They are searching for more information and are unable to contact tipsters again if they call anonymously.
