Curt Casali homered twice and drove in 4 in a 3-hit game, but Yastrzemski’s 420-foot shot was the decider in SF’s 11th straight win over Colorado.

DENVER — One traveled 438 feet. The other landed 416 feet from home plate.

“That felt really good,” said Yastrzemski, whose homer was his third of the season and eighth at Coors Field, his most at any stadium besides Oracle Park. “Just really trying to get a pitch to drive and elevate, and I got one. … I see the ball well here and I know from experience that it’s a big outfield and there’s a lot of ground to cover, so that just gives you confidence.”

“It’s just one of those stretches where I feel good at the plate right now,” said Casali, who after his 3-for-4, two-homer performance is now 9-for-17 in his past seven games, with all three of his homers this season coming on their current trip. “I work hard on defense and that’s always a constant for me. It’s nice to drive some runs in and score some runs. It’s fun.”

Cron and McMahon each delivered RBI singles off Tyler Rogers that tied the game at 6 in the seventh inning, the first time this season the submarining right-hander has allowed more than one run in his team-leading 16 relief appearances.

Phillies homer four times, take third-straight game from Dodgers, 8-3Bryce Harper homered for the third game in a row, complimented by three other blasts from Jean Segura, Kyle Schwarber and Rhys Hoskins as the Phillies handed the Boys in Blue their fourth-straight loss. Bad pitching and left in to allow carnage. Terrible managing. I notice when the Dodgers go down by three runs they almost never come back to win. When a pitcher is in trouble, immediately warm another.
