Serrra’s Rodrick Pleasant sweeps 100, 200 at CIF State track finals; Carson’s Reign Redmond wins girls 100

CLOVIS — Carson junior sprinter Reign Redmond said she didn’t believe she was going to win the CIF State title in the 100 meters until the last second.The sprint sensation overcame her “bad start” Saturday night to post a time of 11.56 seconds in the 100 to finish in first place at the CIF State Track and Field Championships at Buchanan High School.
