Sept. 11 Victim Compensation Fund Cuts Payouts By As Much As 70 Percent

This is a disgrace. The victims compensation fund must be fully and permanently funded. Our hero’s are dying because of the toxins they inhaled on and near the pile.

Trillions of $$ spent, thousands of American soldiers killed, 500K+ people killed, and millions more displaced on baseless wars, all in the name 9/11 and we're back to working with Alqaeda after us causing the creation of ISIS, and yet we still can't care for 9/11 victims. WTF?

And you expect first responders to run into buildings knowing their families will not be taken cared for... I think the government should pay for this since it was a terrorist attack!

So.. tho' zero 9/11 hijackers were from Afghanistan or Iraq, US has spent $2.4 trillion & counting by 2017 to bomb them further into the Stone Age. But the Victims' Fund of $7.3 billion is almost depleted. Trump made Saudi arms deal (15 of 9/11 hijackers). Divert some of that $$.

Maybe the revenue generated from arms sales to Saudi Arabia should be “donated” to this fund.

The VCF initially was properly funded, however, tens of thousands have gotten sick since and the costs of their healthcare is skyrocketing. Congress needs to act soon to ensure its fiscal stability for the long term.

Saudi Arabia should be paying all costs for this fund.

If the US had a proper health care system, this would not be the tragedy it is right AOC?
