On Thursday night, Senator Rand Paul participated in a “Politics and Pints” conversation at a community college in the Philadelphia suburbs. Paul was the guest of Dom Giordano, a radio talk show host on Philadelphia’s WPHT 1210 am.
During the conversation, Paul mentioned two government officials with local ties: former Pennsylvania Secretary of Health Rachel Levine and Senator John Fetterman . “It makes me mad that she takes her mom out,” Paul said. “Leave your mom in a nursing home. I’m taking my mom home because I know a nursing home is a crappy place to be.”
“They shouldn’t be telling us to do one thing while they do the other,” Paul said to cheers from the crowd.
