The Senate has made progress on workforce bills, but is struggling to move forward with the gambling bill. MONTGOMERY , Ala. - legislative package. “All of these groups have come together to coalesce around this idea of the workforce legislation,” Reed said. “I’m excited about it.” However, gambling legislation is seeing delays. The House and the Senate still need to hash out their disagreements.
