Illinois Sen. Dick Durbin said on Sunday he would not rule out a federal investigation into the entire Memphis Police Department after the death of Tyre Nichols.

Two additional deputies with Shelby County Sheriff's Office were relieved of duty pending an impending investigation.when asked about a federal investigation probing the police department on ABC’s “This Week."

“There are good policemen out there risking their lives for us. But there are those who should not be on the force... and we see their prejudice," he said.

Look how they take it seriously when no white cops are involved.

Sounds like an investigation is warranted. It was for Detroit. Between 2003 and 2014, the Detroit Police Dept. was placed under federal court oversight by the Justice Department as the result of allegations about excessive force, illegal arrests and improper detention. It helped.
