The Houston Astros are on the verge of feeling the pain that accompanies being swept out of the American League Championship Series. But the first ding against them Wednesday came in the halls of a United States Senate hearing room – not from the Tampa Bay Rays.
Sen. Ben Sasse, R-Nebraska, used his five minutes of questioning during Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett's confirmation hearing to draw a line between the Astros' sign-stealing scandal to the meaning behind the questions Democratic senators posed."I'd like to talk about the Houston Astros, who are miserable cheaters," Sasse said as he acknowledged his colleague John Cornyn, who represents Texas."... I think all baseball fans know that the Astros cheat.
An offseason investigation by Major League Baseball revealed the Astros used an electronic sign-stealing system that involved using an illegal camera to pick up opposing teams' signs in real-time. Those signs were then relayed to the players on the field by banging on a trash can in the dugout, usually.
General manager Jeff Luhnow and manager A.J. Hinch lost their jobs, as did ex-bench coach Alex Cora and then-player Carlos Beltrán after MLB's report was released . Still, Astros players received no discipline from commissioner Rob Manfred and the scandal has made the franchise a pariah within the sport.

Passive income gives you the freedom of time While money can be spent and earned, time can only be used up but just once. After that time has passed, it's gone forever. You can never physically relive that moment again. This is why passive income is so important
