A jury convicted Tristan Dial of manslaughter in the case — after deliberating for less than an hour.The child died back in 2017 from injuries caused by blunt force trauma.
“The reckless manslaughter conviction that was returned in this case on today resulted from the jury, after listening to the evidence, they reached a conclusion that the defendant’s reckless conduct contributed to the death of the minor and it caused his death,” said District Attorney Robert Turner, Jr.
