Of course, its main draw is Selena , but the series is a true ensemble. As Selena, Serratos is equal parts charming, enthusiastic, ambitious and playful. In one adorable scene, Selena practices her Spanish by mimicking the over-exaggerated acting on the Mexican telenovelas on TV. In another, she gets excited buying a Bedazzler so she can add rhinestones to her outfits.
The series?... isn’t this just like a really long movie ?
The care and compassion?! You mean the ego inflation of Abraham and the rest of the family?!? I thoroughly enjoyed the way Selena played a supporting character in her own show!! SelenaNetflix
