Selena Gomez to launch new Food Network show, 'Selena + Restaurant'

“Selena + Restaurant” will feature the singer going to some of the hottest restaurants in Los Angeles.

Selena Gomez, the Grand Prairie native singer, songwriter, producer, and actress will premiere Selena + Restaurant on Food Network on May 2.She’ll test herself on how fast she can learn to cook one of their dishes, and also create new ones worthy of being on the menu.Gomez will learn from chefs Shirley Chung, Keith Corbin, Stephanie Izard, Andrew & Michelle Muñoz, Wolfgang Puck and Marcel Vigneron over six episodes.

Selena + Restaurant will air on Thursday, May 2, at 7 and 7:30 p.m. on Food Network and will also be available on Max., Staff Writer. Imelda García is a journalist covering Hispanic food and Latino culture trends. She previously worked as a reporter for Al Día, the Spanish-language publication of The DMN. Before working at The DMN, she developed most of her career in national outlets in México.The total solar eclipse is fast upon us.
