Now that the summer has started and the temperatures are warming up, you’ll have multiple ways to beat the heat by hitting the water in Seattle.

While there are a number of indoor pools already open and spray parks, the city will open its six beaches, outdoor pools, and wading pools starting June 25.

Parks and Recreation plans to open all of its beaches this summer but first must hire additional lifeguards for the beaches.

There was just an announcement this morning about NOT GOING IN THE WATERS AROUND WESTERN WASHINGTON. They are too cold. Even with the heat from the day our waters are all under 70° which is what they said was a safe temp. Now you say hey its hot...going play in the waters...
