Larry Gros has been on a mission across Seattle for the past two days, posting the faces of those believed to be kidnapped and taken hostage during the Hamas attack on Israel. The initiative started in New York City and has now reached Seattle with 200 volunteers putting up thousands of posters throughout the weekend.Gros said they are more than just a number. They are real faces and real families.
“This is just one example, Carmel Got 39 years old, Aviv another small baby just two years old and the list is endless,” Gros said.Gros said his immediate family is safe, but some of his friends lost loved ones during Hamas’ attack and some are fighting for their lives. “I’m fine but definitely not okay," Gros said."Last Saturday more people died in one single day in 12 hours than any other day since the Holocaust. I want to ask the world to stand with us."“This is something we're used to seeing in the last couple of days," Gros said."He was too ashamed to show his face and come talk to me. I just want to talk to him to explain to him what we actually doing here.
