Scream 6 Finally Paid Off Scream 2's Fake Script After 26 Years

Scream 2's leaked script was proven fake when the movie premiered, but 26 years later, Scream 6 ran with its idea for the Ghostface reveal. Luckily it wasn't the actual script but a dummy script. This is a clever way to keep things a secret until the film's premiere.

Quinn Fulfills Sidney's Roommate Being A Killer From Scream 2's Fake Leaked Script In the fake Scream 2 script, two different Ghostface killers are revealed. Instead of Billy Loomis' mother, Nancy Loomis, and Sidney's classmate Mickey Altieri, the killers were Sidney's boyfriend, Derek Feldman, and her roommate Hallie.

When Quinn Bailey takes off her Ghostface mask at the end of Scream 6, revealing she had faked her death earlier in the film, she explains that she orchestrated becoming Sam and Tara's roommate so she could kill them. This follows the fake script that had Sidney's roommate after her.

Derek & Hallie's Fake Killer Twist Was Already Used In Scream 5 The fake Scream 2 script explained that Derek and Halle met on a horror movie chat board and worked together to integrate themselves into Sidney's life so they could kill her. This storyline didn't make it into the film, but it did become the story of how Richie Kirsch and Amber Freeman met in Scream 5.
