Schumer, who is trying to recruit her to run for the Senate next year, according to two people with knowledge of the meeting.
Lauren Groh-Wargo, Abrams’s former campaign manager, said earlier this week that Abrams was keeping all options open for 2020 and beyond. Then Friday, on Twitter, Groh-Wargo batted back the suggestion that talks between the two were ongoing.[Analysis: Stacey Abrams would be a smart choice for Biden’s running mate. But would it be smart for Abrams?]
After her narrow defeat, Schumer selected Abrams to give the Democratic Party’s rebuttal to President Trump’s State of the Union address in February.
Washington state loves her....she has a voice that draws you in...so i dont see who any one can say she has not gone national....keep up...good work. Being of mixed race i looked to her and Kamala. They are strong impowering women we in Washington state admire
Is it weird that the first thing I thought was 'what is Amy Schumer up to with Stacey Abrams?'
BJHare Where can I donate?
cheechny Now that is super good news!!
Better she try to win senate seat than being a VP possibility
Two beauts
I'm 100% on board with a Stacey Abrams 2020 Senate campaign!
Cnn puts people on that said they had evidence like that lying pos Adam shift. They all knew they had no evidence. Only fool watch cnn, fools.
maggieNYT I would rather have Beto O'Rourke, Stacy Abrams and Pete Buttigeig in the Senate than all running for President. In the long run, Dems need to stop the judicial bleeding.
Big mama Abrams doesn't resonate with America.
maggieNYT Better for all than president or VP bid.
maggieNYT YES!!!
This is good. Stacey Abrams deserves a voice in Democratic politics, she’s part of the future of the party. Being a prop to Joe Biden’s vanity run isn’t it.
Yes!!!
Oh please
Yes! staceyabrams
Johhny Isackson will probably endorse her.
Why is this sore loser suddenly the demo’s flavor of the month...scratched head
👎🏳️🌈
Better to run for Senate. She doesn’t yet have a national reach to have any impact.
maggieNYT Yes, you can do it Stacey!
This is where she belongs. She will obliterate Purdue. Great step for future federal leadership roles.
ColbyItkowitz One of the good things going for StaceyAbrams is that she's a highly educated minority/female politician.
We need her in the senate
I hope she does run for Senate. She's just as qualified as anyone to run for President but Georgia needs a really strong Senator and I think she could win there.
maggieNYT Makes more sense than VP

Yes we need more woman in the Senate go for it.
Has she spoken with Michelle Nunn, the former senator from Georgia’s daughter?
We need her in the Senate
Go Stacey! She would make a brilliant senator! Not only would she represent us well but it would make the racist MAGA folks cry and that’s always a plus.
She lost...find someone new.

What for, she doesn’t accept election results. 😀
Schumer & Democrats 5 Reason why she'd be a great Senator: 1. She's Black 2. She's Black 3. She' a Woman 4. She's Black 5. She's a Woman
LOL
She'll throw another tantrum and call it fraud (with no evidence) when she loses again.
What else can a Democrat do in life besides run for office, after office? Get a real job? LOL
I hope she eats him!
