With 106 million website visitors a year, The American Cancer Society wanted a holistic picture of those visitors so they could better help them. They chose SAP C/4HANA software. Since using the new system, over 2.5 million new users have registered with the Society.

Since implementing the new system, more than 2.5 million new users have registered with the Society. Of those, about 360,000 have logged in using social credentials, enabling the organization to collect data from these third-party accounts, including users’ demographics, relationships, and more.

Looking ahead, Carter says that American Cancer Society wants to deliver personalized content and information to people, while protecting their personal data. With the customer identity system based on SAP C/4HANA, the organization will be able to provide relevant information to people – whether they are patients, volunteers or donors.“With 2.7 million volunteers and donors, we depend on SAP Customer Data Cloud as the critical front-end registration piece to our sites,” said Carter.

What about inflation? 😂😂😂😂😂 You will have $2.3 million, but what you can buy for 2.3 million USD in 50 years? Maybe a cup of coffee 🤣 acorns What investment guarantees 10% return a year? acorns If you made a one time investment of $6,000 (first job) when you are 16yo and that earned a constant 10%, you'd have $1 million by 70. It's highly unlikely you'd get a constant 10%, and after inflation it would probably only have the purchasing power of $220k in today's dollars.
