BREAKING: A Saudi-owned satellite news channel is reporting a fire at a Saudi Aramco facility in the kingdom's east, without offering a cause for the blaze.

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates — An explosion and fire has struck a major Saudi Aramco oil processing facility in the kingdom’s east, a Saudi-owned satellite channel reported Saturday, without offering a cause for the blast.

State media in Saudi Arabia did not immediately report on the incident. Requests for comment sent to Aramco and officials in the kingdom were not immediately acknowledged. Saudi Aramco describes its oil processing facility there as “the largest crude oil stabilization plant in the world.”

Well, gas at the pump will jump 10 cents a gallon tomorrow morning! Just because they can.

Probably just a weeny roast gone bad.

Read carefully. AP is reporting about a report on the fire. Literally, because this particular channel did not vocalize a reason for this, AP thought that was world wide newsworthy... Hmmmmm? AP is pretty much saying 'We know there is more to this, but we're not telling.'

These greedy rich basturds better not ask for American aid.

Does AP not have access to Twitter? There was machine gun fire followed by huge explosions and towering flames! The news channel didn't give a reason, but this is a huge fire. Like blocks and block and hundreds of feet into the sky. It was clearly an attack of some kind.

To bad we still have to fucking care about oil

yeah let's give these guys nuclear weapons. Afterall, on 9/11 only 19 of the hijackers were Saudi's.

Saw video with a buzzing drone prior to an explosion. Probably Houthis then

Good thing they are only the second largest oil exporter...

Biiiiiiiitch_ oh...damn. Irán ?

ELINTNews Iran did it

The Iranians threatened to attack Saudi oil production months ago and this is on the Persian gulf

Hey AP you do know there were 2200 remains found st a home of an abortion doctor right

Thread....

Hmmm locals have gun fire going off as well.... Let me help you report this better

Online videos showed a massive blaze on the horizon, with the apparent sound of gunfire in the background.

Bets on the Saudis saying it was an accident?

What about the shots fired ?

videos with major explosions and gunfire so this aint just a fire ...

And...

Karma for 9/11

ELINTNews Iran Also gunshots in city being heard
