And what do with all the excess energy unless European willing to buy it and the neighbors willing to transport it? The same old problem of green energy! The prophets of green energy in Europe don’t really believe in it — if it comes from Saudi Arabia.

🤔

Of course they shelved it. They want to sell all of their dirty fossil fuel first.

How sad

Can't risk the Petro Dollar hegemony

Why ? You have got to spend money to make money. Solar panels ,solar paint, solar roofing panels. Carbon nano tubes.

Do you think Royal Family who own country' oil and all natural resources would invest in renewable energy, they would lose money if they would do so.

I'm not a banker, but I opine whether the Saudis ever thought of partnering with An Post for their newly proposed banking/mortgage operations?

I have never understood why the Saudis and the rest of the Arab world don't fully invest in sustainable projects. Oil is temporary. Solar and banking are far more sustainable.

That’s how you survive the winter. Yes, there is such a thing as winter. Hard to remember that in Saudi Arabia.

The Latest: Erdogan to speak, unclear if on KhashoggiISTANBUL (AP) — The Latest on the killing of Saudi writer Jamal Khashoggi, a Washington Post columnist who vanished after entering the Saudi consulate in Istanbul earlier this month (all times local): 1:10 p.m. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is scheduled to speak at the opening of a stadium early Saturday afternoon, though it is unclear whether he will comment on Saudi Arabia's acknowledgement that Saudi writer Jamal Khashoggi was killed in its Istanbul consulate. Erdogan, who has promised a thorough investigation of Khashoggi's killing, is to make public remarks in the southeastern Turkish city of Diyarbakir. Turkish pro-government media had said for days that an official hit squad traveled from Saudi Arabia to kill Khashoggi, who vanished after entering the Saudi consulate on Oct. 2. That version differs from the account of Saudi Arabia, which said early Saturday that the Saudi journalist died in a 'fistfight.' Saudi Arabia says 18 Saudi suspects are in custody and that intelligence officials were fired. U.S. President Donald Trump says Saudi Arabia's announcement that suspects are in custody for Khashoggi's killing is a 'good first step,' though some U.S. lawmakers say Saudi Arabia's account isn't credible and seems designed to exonerate Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman of any involvement. Erdogen? No one has imprisoned or disappeared more journalist. The whole investigation & Trumps acceptance of current reports are shocking but not surprising Turkey is at a crossroads: truth versus evil.
