SANTA ROSA -- It's still unclear what happened when a 16-year-old student was stabbed to death and another was injured during a fight at a Santa Rosa high school on Wednesday but several parents have shared stories of their sons being bullied in city schools.broke out after two male students, both juniors, entered an art classroom and engaged in a physical altercation with a freshman boy. At the time, 27 students were in the class along with the teacher and three teacher's aides.
"We feel the administration, just the way they are running things and how they're handling situations like this, it really angered the students," Sanchez said.Students want their voices to be heard.

Update: Mother of teen stabbed at Montgomery High says school should have prevented deadly fightThe mother of one of the teens involved in a deadly classroom stabbing in Santa Rosa says officials at Montgomery High could -- and should -- have done more to prevent it. From reading the article it sure seems there was more to this than initial reports. It definitely looks like the school authorities were derelict in their duty to monitor the situation involving the offending student. Perhaps they could have suspended him & spoken to his parents. As to no security police on site. Authorities tend to be PC in their over the top reactions to an incident (in this case George Floyd’s death) & look at smaller picture, instead of the bigger one for optics. Security should have remained on site, irrespective of Floyd’s death! How sad our youth society has to go this far..We need more custodians to protect the future of our country,our local police department is just 5' away from high School, have coffee W/ the copsthe cafeteria, friend our youth, regardless their back ground, we need to-be influence!

The other is expected to survive. Not really victims if they went to the classroom to do something to the younger…while I’m deeply saddened and concerned for our futures they need to do better writing.. So.
