Sandy Hook families seek Alex Jones arrest after 2nd no-show

In a landmark settlement, Remington Arms agreed to pay $73 million to nine Connecticut families still mourning their children killed during the mass shooting.Lawyers for relatives of Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting victims asked a Connecticut judge again Friday to order the arrest of Infowars host Alex Jones, after he defied a court order to attend a deposition as part of a lawsuit over his calling the massacre a hoax.

The families' lawyers filed a motion late Friday afternoon requesting that Jones be arrested and detained until he sits for a deposition, be fined $25,000 to $50,000 a day until he completes the questioning, be found in contempt of court and to pay their expenses for traveling to Austin this week. Earlier Friday, Jones said on his website show that it was “absolutely preposterous” the families' lawyers were trying to have him arrested for missing a deposition because of illness. He said the families' lawyers had delayed depositions in the case several times and he didn't complain.

They should. People need to STOP using social media to tell complete lies. Jones saying that the shooting never happened is getting past old and is damaging. Sandy Hook was a shooting that broke ALL our hearts!

Don’t these parents have anything else to do? Alex jones didn’t hurt their children.

Unless he's hauled in, everyone will take this attitude. They just don't need to deal with it. I'm sick of it. Delays, stall tactics, etc. Meanwhile, lawyers charge additional hours and victims just need to keep forking out more money, dragging their misery on and on.
