Sanders rips Trump for opposing Postal Service funding: 'He's going to do everything he can to suppress the vote'

Washington Sen. Bernie Sanders on Thursday warned Americans that President Donald Trump is"going to do everything he can to suppress the vote" in a searing response to Trump's opposition to much-needed funding for the US Postal Service.

Trump had admitted earlier in the day that he opposes the additional funding in a coronavirus relief bill because he doesn't want to see it used for mail-in voting this November. In an evening news conference, he said would not veto a bill that contains the funding, but continued to claim without evidence that mail-in voting would lead to widespread fraud."What this is about is not complicated. Trump may be crazy, but he's not stupid. And he looks at polling. He is behind.
