Bernie Sanders beats Pete Buttigieg in New Hampshire Democratic primary, dealing a setback to Joe Biden, who finished fifth

MANCHESTER, N.H. - Bernie Sanders narrowly won New Hampshire’s Democratic presidential primary on Tuesday, solidifying his front-runner status in the race to take on Donald Trump and dealing a setback to moderate rival Joe Biden, who finished a disappointing fifth.

In a sign of the growing rivalry between Sanders, the 78-year-old self-professed democratic socialist, and Buttigieg, a 38-year-old moderate, Sanders’ supporters booed and chanted “Wall Street Pete!” when Buttigieg’s post-primary speech was shown on screens. But their moderate rivals argue their sweeping agenda would alienate swing and independent voters needed to win back the White House. The results provided no clear answers for Democrats trying to decide whether their best choice to challenge Trump would be a moderate like Buttigieg, Klobuchar or Biden, or Sanders and Warren, who represents neighboring Massachusetts.

He also faces competition from Michael Bloomberg, the billionaire former New York mayor who is skipping the four early voting states and pouring resources into much larger states like California that will vote on March 3, known as “Super Tuesday”. What a stupid way to report

Why is Sanders the front runner? Buttigieg has more won more delegates in the first two contests. Why is Sanders considered the winner in New Hampshire? He got more votes, but ended up winning the same number of delegates as Buttigieg.

JoeBiden

The vote was split in thirds and this is the headline? Awful.

BernieSanders Socialism destroyed Venezuela in just the 14 year Chavez reign. Democratic Socialism does not exist. It always de-evolves into a police state as Venezuela is now. Denmark PM: 'We are not Socialist but rather a free market economy with a strong safety net'

But they got the same number of delegates. That’s not a “win,” it’s a tie.

Good, you know Bernie then.

how do you explain this? .BernieSanders is the winner but your headline is about Pete and Klobuchar coming in second and third?

nobody cares about Joe, Sanders is the nominee!

No mention of the candidates in 3rd and 4th place - I wonder why 🤔

delegateCounts 3million ahead
