Celebrated chef Bruce Hill has ended his long tenure at San Francisco restaurant Bix after two decades.

Hill, who has been a partner and executive chef at Bix since 2002, left the kitchen sometime in January, according to“We are so sad to have Bruce Hill leaving us here at BIX that we are throwing a dinner in his honor on February 7th. Make your reservation today,” Bix wrote onAt the commemorative dinner, Hill will roll up his sleeves at Bix for the last time to prepare a selection of menu items from the past 20 years at the restaurant, Tablehopper reports.
