“The people of San Francisco have spoken loud and clear: There is no place for killer police robots in our city,” city supervisor Dean Preston told ABC News in a statement.

“Allowing them to kill remotely will lead to more mistakes, and as we have seen many times before with other police weapons, to more frequent use,” ACLU NorCal said.

Wild that we've reached a point in our society where this is something that needs to be left up to a vote, because there aren't enough democracy-supporting individuals within the government to realize the idea is garbage from day one.
