Texas teachers need to being a valid school district ID badge or teacher certification to qualify for the discount.
All teachers currently employed at an accredited K-12 public, private or parochial school in Texas are eligible for the discount, according to zoo officials. Lone Star State teachers also can purchase four additional standard admission tickets for half off during the promotion.

RTD to offer free bus and train rides throughout the month of AugustStarting Monday people will be able to hop on an RTD bus or train for free. The transit service and dozens of others are offering free rides for the entire month of August. Seems like RideRTD got this rolling early. We've been on the A Line 4 times since Thursday and never had our tickets checked. Maybe they wouldn't be in so much debt if they actually checked that people purchased tickets.
