San Antonio’s Rick Medina joins June 25 card

Rick Medina of San Antonio will take on Raymond Ford of Camden, N.J., in a battle of unbeaten featherweights June 25 at the new Tech Port Arena.

The bout, scheduled for 10 rounds, is for the WBA Continental Americas and IBF North American titles and is part of a card headlined by San Antonio’s Jesse “Bam” Rodriguez defending his WBC super flyweight title against Srisaket Sor Rungvisai in the main event.

Floyd Schofield of Austin scored a sixth-round knockout of Juan Antonio Lopez of Mexico at 1:10 of the sixth round. Iranda Paola Torres of Mexico lost a 10-round decision to Bo Mi Re Shin of South Korea in a 10-round super featherweight bout.Dimitre Ivy of San Antonio defeated Lorram Esteves of Somerville, Mass., atop a Fury Fighting Championships MMA card at Cowboys Dancehall on May 22.Jacks set to attend USA Boxing camp

San Antonio Regional and Texas State Golden Gloves heavyweight champion Aden Jacks has been invited to attend a training camp at the USA Boxing Training Center from June 12-July 2 at Colorado Springs, Colo.
