by SBG San Antonio Staff ReportsOn December 30, 2023, at approximately 9 p.m., Ethan Martinez left his apartment at 6010 Ray Ellison Boulevard to meet with unknown individuals in the parking lot to sell vape cartridges. Moments later, gunfire erupted, and Ethan was tragically shot and killed.

SAN ANTONIO - The San Antonio Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in identifying and apprehending the suspect involved in the murder of 15-year-old Ethan Martinez. On December 30, 2023, at approximately 9 p.m., Ethan Martinez left his apartment at 6010 Ray Ellison Boulevard to meet with unknown individuals in the parking lot to sell vape cartridges. Moments later, gunfire erupted, and Ethan was tragically shot and killed.Investigators believe several people were present at the scene who may have witnessed the crime. SAPD is urging anyone with information to come forward, regardless of how insignificant it may seem.

Video footage from the scene also shows numerous individuals who could potentially aid in solving this case. Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest of the suspect involved.
