A San Antonio man has been charged with capital murder in the killing of his girlfriend, Andreanna Flores , who went missing from New Braunfels a year ago. Gilberto Sepulveda , 25, has also been charged with repeated violation of a protective order and continuous family violence, both third-degree felonies, the New Braunfels Police Department said. Bond was set at $813,000. A pre-trial hearing is scheduled for June. Flores was 19 when she went missing on May 19, 2023, police said.

Records show Sepulveda was previously charged in March 2023 with unlawfully carrying a weapon, and in August 2023 with continuous violation of a protective order and continuous violence against the family, a charge filed against suspects who allegedly committed two or more offenses within 12 months.
